Good game Larry. Way to come back strong after last night’s sucktacular 2-11 performance. Your trade value is through the roof! Keep this up and you might be shooting 38% by the end of the season. Too bad the Cavs were abused for most of the game.
What’s wrong with this picture?
Yahoo sports is listing Larry Hughes as a ”Hot” player. Since when is 40% considered good? WTF?
.
Meanwhile, Chris Paul is listed as ”NOT” despite the fact that he’s shooting better than Larry!
Our standards have sunk to all-time new lows.

I was at the game tonight in Seattle and I almost choked on my nachos when Larry made three shots in a row! I loved how the rims were mic’ed so I actually heard what I always imagined to hear when Larry shoots (at least about 70% of the time.) Did you see my comment on your last post or is the hot, not thing a coincidence?

notice that the rest of the team compensated with a larry-like 35%….the universe remains in balance

If Lebron doesn’t win MVP this year, they need to change the title of the award. He is the very definition of term when you see the rest of the team without him.
…
I still think he should play 5 on Lebron basketball for a better shot at making the finals.

One subject we haven’t tapped into yet, is who the hell is LH’s agent?
$12,000,000 a year for 5 years?
Give him a pat on the back…

Last night while watching the game, I was trying to explain to my wife the historic event that we were witnessing. Larry actually approaching 50% for an entire game. She says to me…”is this like the time that you made me watch the last 2 innings of that really tall, ugly pitcher (the Big Unit) throwing a perfect game a few years ago?” Yes honey, something like that.

Larry played well last night. But with no LeBron, he (and Z) were the go-to guys for crunch time scoring. Eek. Larry’s missed runner in the lane ended our chance for the most amazing 4th quarter comeback this team has had all year.
I’m glad to see that none of the LeBron-less Cavs quit on the game, but we do not have another viable option to close games. Larry is able to create decent shots for himself at times … but he rarely makes them - especially in crunch time.
Worth noting: 19 yr old Kevin Durant hit big shots late in the game last night.

So I don’t know what this ranking is really worth, but it was on nba.com, it rated all the players in the nba based on mins played/wins..etc
Larry placed an amazing 434 of 446

That ranking is extremely valid. I’ve been following the Wages of Wins for some time now and it’s far more accurate than PER. The link you posted shows just how bad Larry (and Sasha) have been this year. It also shows that Camby not making the All-Star team is a crime.

The real head-scratcher regarding this post is that 24% of Yahoo fantasy basketball leagues have Larry on a franchise. Wow.
Airballed a three last night, let’s not forget that.

The only part of the game I saw last night was a 5 minute stretch where LH had consecutive 20 footers blocked and neither team scored. And this was one of his better games!?

Yeah Yahoo Sports Algorithm sucks… But Hughes continues to improve. I think his trade value can really skyrocket this season

Maybe we should start betting on He Hughes Shall Not Be Named’s shooting percentages for tonight? I’m going with29%. Seems safe enough?
