Considering tonight’s game, discussing ANY player other than LeBron James seems like a total waste of time, but you’re here for some Larry Hughes so that’s what you get.

Nice game Bizarro Larry Hughes! All you need to do is repeat your 6-12 shooting performance for the next fifteen games in a row and your your field goal percentage will be 41% for the season.

Some interesting facts:

  • This was just the 4th time in 20 games that Larry Hughes shot 50% or better.
  • The Cavs record is 4-0 in those games.
  • Larry has played 20 games this season, the team’s record is 10-10 in those games.
  • In the 10 losses, Larry shot 23%
  • In the 10 wins, Larry shot 44%
  • In the image above, Larry is unleashing his newest offensive move called the “Bargnani Ball-Buster” which he learned from Mark Price during their offseason workouts. The move proved to be effective, as Bargani went 0-5 after suffering this devastating blow.

“Bargani Ball-Buster”! Awesome man. Larry’s huge contract & piss-poor shooting is like a giant anchor weighing down this organization. 2009 can’t come soon enough as maybe then the Cavs can unload his expiring contract for a real player.

[…] While this is all great when you’re down 10 points with seven minutes to go in the fourth quarter and you’re attempting an all-offense comeback, what you’re also doing is hoping that the other team simply misses their shots on the other end as Jones could be the biggest defensive liability in the league.  Sending him out there in a “Hail Mary” type of offense will work once in a while, but it is far from the long-term answer.  At least it was good to see Coach Brown give him a shot - as it may help the old self confidence a bit, while showcasing at the same time.  Oh, and this always helps. The fact that Hughes shot 50% does not mean he played well - it only means he was not enough of a liability to pull down the Cavs with his any boners. Noticed that as a starting point guard , he didn’t even register a single assist -that’s correct-not one freakin assist. He was too busy looking for his own offense that seeing him facilitate the offense was just downright ugly. Neither did he play good defense, supposedly his strength. Juan Carlos Navarro burned him. And did you notice that the great rally in the 4th qrt. happened with Larry Hughes not seeing a minute of action. Damon Jones played much better than him in all phases of the game-shooting, playmaking and yes- defense.

Its Bargnani, not Bargani my friend. My balls actually hurt Mr. Hughes knee more than it did me. He is more brittle than a biscotti. Also to Kimpy, Juan Carlos Navarro plays for the Grizzlies, stupido. I suppose you mean Jose Calderon. Arrivedeci

This is the best web-site I’ve ever seen. You are a genius. Subsequently I am a genius I picked up Larry Hughes on fantasy the day he got back and he went off. I promptly dropped him after this therefore getting his only useful preformance evvvvvvvvvver. I’m not from Cleveland I’m from Utah but I feel y’all please keep the propagation of the plight which is Larry Hughes up and keep me posted.
