2-8      .250         0-1      .000      0-0     .000

(Editor’s Note: My mom thinks I’m being too hard on Larry Hughes, so this is me trying to be more positive.)

I have to give credit where credit is due, and tonight Larry did not take a lot of bad shots. Only half of them were bad. And he missed a lot of shots, but that’s a totally different problem. That’s called sucking at shooting. But that’s not what this site is about. This site focuses on Larry having poor judgement and taking too many low percentage shots.

But I thought he showed better judgement on the court tonight. On 3 or 4 separate occasions, he started dribbling with clear intent to shoot and then changed his mind suddenly and passed the ball. It was almost as if Mike Brown was zapping him with a shock collar to stop him from jacking up a long jumper. Great coaching tonight Mike Brown!

ZAP!

So even though he shot poorly, he played smarter and he didn’t hurt the team. In fact, there were moments where he really helped us out. Good job on your 25% shooting on just 8 attempts. Keep it up Larry, except quit missing so much now.

(Still too many X’s on the court, but at least they are getting closer to the basket.)

I dunno, I counted 3 bad turnovers in the first half alone, and you failed to mention that dunk/layup he missed in the 3rd quarter. you know, the one where the ball kind of fell in front of him, everyone just stood around while they thought he would dunk it, nobody was guarding him or within 2 feet, and then he missed

It has gotten to a point where every shot Larry Hughes takes is bad

Ah, it sounds like you are referring to the time where Larry bricked a jumper, got schooled by Kobe, bobbled the ball and turned it over, then fouled the guy who recoved… all within a 45-second stretch. You think that’s bad? What’s wrong with you?
